MPM Productivity Management has been a trusted partner at Nidec Poland since 2011. Our initial interactions with the company through training sessions showcased their reliability and expertise in organizing and delivering high-quality training programs. In 2013, we embarked on a long-term collaboration, starting with Warehouse Management training. MPM suggested hosting semi-open training sessions, a decision that proved beneficial for both our organization and external participants. The fresh perspectives brought by individuals from diverse backgrounds often led to innovative solutions during discussions.
Over the years, we have trained 32 employees at Nidec Poland, focusing on two tracks: Warehouse Management and integrated planning according to the APICS standard. Initially, we pursued the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) track, and we are currently implementing the Focused Supply Chain based on the Principles of Operations Management (POM) program. Approximately 80% of participants are logistics and planning specialists, with the remainder comprising managers.
Consistency in training implementation is paramount to us. Beyond expanding knowledge, our goal is to equip employees with the skills to discuss planning using a standardized approach, fostering alignment and effective communication. By speaking the language of APICS, employees from diverse backgrounds can collaborate seamlessly, streamlining planning processes such as MPS and S&OP.
Our partnership with MPM has transformed our training landscape. While the trainers play a crucial role in the company's success, credit must also be given to the office staff responsible for organizational logistics. Seamless coordination ensures timely delivery of materials, catering for participants, and efficient participant-trainer coordination. In our organization, we have a dedicated liaison responsible for communication with MPM's office, and the exemplary cooperation between our teams has been instrumental in our training endeavors over the years.
